Introductions – Adam Bailey

Hello! My name is Adam and I’ll be a new Crossway church planting resident starting at Mountainview Community Church this coming January. In the photo you can see my wife Joanie and my son Noah, and soon we hope to welcome a baby girl into the world as well. We’ve recently moved to Fort Collins from Denver to start our residency with Mountainview.

I was introduced to Crossway through Nick Cistola, the Worship Director at Mountain View. He and I had worked together previously and through him I met the leadership at the church. We began having conversations about a potential residency in early 2020. I was excited to go through the Crossway core values and DNA and see what a great fit the network was for me theologically and philosophically. I am perhaps most looking forward to the ability to learn under the pastoral staff here at Mountain View. They have already welcomed and blessed me immensely, and I know God will use them to prepare my family and me these next few years as we serve the church and prepare to plant where God would have us.

A little more about me, I worked in the consumer-packaged goods industry for about 8 years (managing all sorts of different food brands and startups), and began my first ministry job in 2019. The corporate world gave me numerous skill sets for which I’m grateful. In the past, I got to be a part of several church plants which set a fire in my soul for planting a church myself. Through those churches I’ve seen numerous people come into the joy of knowing Christ for the first time, perhaps the greatest thing one can witness this side of eternity. I enjoy reading at specialty coffee shops, seeing the world with my family, basketball, spike-ball, eating, and good discussion. We look forward to building many rich and lifelong relationships here at Mountain View and across the Network as a whole.
